What is Hydroelectricity?

Hydroelectricity is a process that harnesses the kinetic energy of flowing water to generate electricity. It involves the construction of dams across rivers or other water bodies to create reservoirs.

How does it work?

Hydroelectricity works by converting the energy of flowing or falling water into electrical energy.
